SB-CaRT Disclaimer

The NSW Sexual Behaviours Context and Response Tool (SB-CaRT) for Children and Young People is a resource made available to anyone working with children and young people to assist:

  • identifying when to be concerned about sexual behaviours displayed by a child or young person; and
  • determining the appropriate response to the sexual behaviours and any broader concerns they may have.

When using the SB-CaRT or any information recorded and exported from the SB-CaRT, please be respectful of language and ensure that any information entered is relevant, accurate, current and reliable. Where possible, please avoid providing information that could enable a child or young person or their family members being identified.

Before any action or decision is taken on the basis of the information entered into or exported from the SB-CaRT, users should consider obtaining appropriate professional advice and should follow their organisation's policies and procedures. Users are responsible for the actions they take and decisions they make. Options for consultation pathways are outlined in the resources section of the Tool.

The Ministry of Health NSW (MoH NSW) takes reasonable care in linking to other sources and websites. However, the MoH NSW has no direct control over the content of the linked sites, nor any changes that may occur to content on those sites.
